Days 37 and 38 Lymington

Lymington Quay side

Dear readers, here we ae in lovely Lymington, a place we both know but it never ceases to delight! We have decided to stay here until Sunday morning,  9th July, day 39, when we will set off early to be in Southampton by Sunday lunchtime. We are expecting a few visitors on Sunday in Southampton, so we need to be there by then. My son Joe and his wife Anita are coming down to see us at the weekend, they are staying in Christchurch, and my sister Dee will also be joining us on board for a visit and perhaps a sail on Sunday to Southampton?

I have set out below some images of Lymington taken yesterday evening.

I am dedicating this blog in memory of a very sweet cat, Tibbles, who passed away yesterday at the age of 17.

The King's Head, we loved the sailing times, especially The Lizard... Anyone's guess!
