You can't come in it's all mine! |
Day 31, 1 July, we visited Dublin just to do the tour of the Guinness factory because we both like a taste of the black stuff. Yes it does taste different here in Ireland, they say that is because it doesn't travel well. However it is made outside of Ireland as well which probably explains why. Here it is made from water fresh from the Wicklow Mountains (the water is not taken from the Liffey, that is an urban myth.)

We have arrived!

The tour was well worth doing and it finishes at the top of the Storehouse building, which is shaped like a pint of Guinness. The Gravity Bar on the top floor (the froth on the top of the pint) has spectacular 360 degree views over Dublin's fair city and to top it off (ha ha) you get a free pint of Guinness. The perfect end to the day.
Josh's tee shirt slogan reads "Tall, dark and handsome". This refers to the pint of Guinness!!
I bet he was once. At least Josh still has one of the three attributes 😆 Apparently the more Guinness you drink the faster they return. Wish I was there. Cheers Ali
