Day 2 Largs Marina Lift Off
Day 2 and we have settled in at Largs Marina for a couple of days due to unfavourable weather. After a disturbed night due to a storm passing through, we woke up early because we are due to have Lunar Sea lifted out this morning.
It was blowing hard and raining but the rain and wind did finally ease at 11.00 so we were able to get the boat lifted out. Lunar Sea looked rather put out at being hauled out of her floating mode to a "suspended in mid air" position, but she was soon settled happily on the dock side. It was immediately apparent what the problem had been yesterday; she was encrusted with mussels!

After some serious pressure washing she was clean as a whistle and ready to go back into her comfort zone... floating happily in water rather than being uncomfortably suspended in mid air! She looked very pleased with herself as we took her off to her new mooring and Josh said he could straight away feel the difference. We should be speeding along now on our next leg on Tuesday, Largs to Troon.
